Funeral for Bobby Lee McLemore, 66, of Decatur was Friday, Mar. 6, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Scotty Hogan officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. McLemore died Monday, Mar. 2, 2009, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. He was born August 6, 1942 in Lawrence County to Thomas and Lucille McLemore. He worked as a data processing supervisor at Mutual Savings Life Insurance Company for 43 years and was a member of Westmeade Baptist Church. He served in the Army for two years and loved golf and restoring old cars. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Billy McLemore.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Margaret ‘Bucky’ McLemore of Decatur; a son, Chadwick Lee McLemore; a daughter, Joey Leighann Chadha; two sisters, Lois Bolan of Moulton and Sadie Williams; and a grandchild, Gabriel Lee McLemore.
Pallbearers were LaBron Davis, David McAnally, Ronnie Moore, Don Morrison, O’Neal Proctor and James Sparks.
Honorary pallbearers were Darrell Bolan and Robert Littrell.
