A memorial service for Keith Alan Vinzant, 53, of Hartselle was Saturday, Mar.7, at 4 p.m. at Decatur Christian Fellowship with pastor John T. White officiating. Peck Funeral Home handled arrangements.
Mr. Vinzant died Tuesday, Mar. 3, 2009, at his residence. He was born Dec. 19, 1955, in Wisconsin to Coy Lee Vinzant and Estelle Catherine Bresette Vinzant. He retired from Goodyear Tire &Rubber Co. after 23 years and coached Little League baseball teams in the 1980s.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Lott Vinzant of Hartselle; two sons, Jody Alan Vinzant and Matthew Ross Vinzant, both of Hartselle; a daughter, Ashlee Michelle Vinzant of Hartselle; his father, Coy Lee Vinzant of Hartselle; his mother, Estelle Bresette Vinzant of Bayfield, Wis.; three brothers, Robert Charles Vinzant of Trinity, Michael James Vinzant of Crestview, Fla. and Anthony Dale Vinzant of Bayfield, Wis.; three granddaughters, Sydney May, Haleigh Vinzant and Kylea Vinzant; and a grandson, Noah Hodges.
