A graveside service for Barbara Glasscock, 81, of Hartselle will be Thursday (today), April 9, at 1:30 p.m. at Hartselle City Cemetery with Dr. Jeff Redmond officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Glasscock died Monday, April 6, 2009, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born on September 4, 1928, in Jefferson County to Jackson Alfred Hale and Norma Murphy Hale. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hartselle and had been employed by Safety Engineering in Birmingham for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, David Martin.
She is survived by her husband, John A. Glasscock of Hartselle.
