Nelson signs with Harding

Taylor Nelson will get the opportunity to play in one of the nation’s top Division II baseball conferences after signing with Harding University last week.
Nelson, a third baseman for the Tigers, is currently hitting .323 with 40 hits and 28 RBIs in 46 games. He has six stolen bases.
Harding University is located in Searcy, Ark.
Harding University competes in the GSC, a league that includes the University of North Alabama and the University of Alabama at Huntsville.
Nelson has had several friends play in the Gulf South Conference, including current UAH standout Jordan Parker.
Nelson credits Parker and the Hartselle coaches for the opportunity to play college baseball.
