Funeral for Thenia Franks “Sam” Brown, 55, of Danville was Friday, April 10, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Kim Upton officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown died Tuesday, April 7, 2009, at her residence.
She was born March 2, 1954, in Morgan County. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Allen Brown; her father, Winford Lee Franks; and a brother, Stan Franks.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry Kelley Jr. of Danville and Brian Kelley; a daughter, Amanda Kelley of Danville; her mother, Ila Higdon; a sister, Debbie Brown; five grandchildren, Jessie Davis, Jacob Davis, Cory Kelley, Melissa Kelley and Jerry Kelley III.
Pallbearers were Richard Birdsell, Tearle Brown, Timbo Brown, Stanley Clem, Cody Baker and Tyler Brown.
