A graveside service for Betty Teague Gann, 78, of Hartselle was Friday, April 24, at 2 p.m. at Hartselle City Cemetery with Chaplain Paul Summerford officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Gann died Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born February 19, 1931, in Morgan County to James L. Teague and Mildred Lindsey Teague. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Martha Teague Bell.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Gann of Hartselle; a son, Jimmy Gann and wife Gale of Decatur; a daughter, Janie Gann Hart and husband John of Decatur; a brother-in-law, Conrad Bell of Hartselle; and a grandchild, Carrie E. Ward of Decatur.
Pallbearers were Conrad Bell, Gary Bell, James Bell, John Hart, Rex Lindsey and Greg Teague.
Honorary pallbearers were James Kyle Lindsey, Billy Gann and Milford Fields.
