Funeral for Queen Esther Orr, 80, of Hartselle will be Thursday (today), April 30, at 1 p.m. at Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall in Hartselle with Tex Grey officiating and Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Orr died Saturday, April 25, 2009, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born December 10, 1928, in Morgan County to David Harry Hardin and Lettie Edward Hardin. She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Linda Orr Green.
She is survived by a son, Phillip Larry Orr of Hartselle; three daughters, Myrdis Orr and Gwendolyn Orr, both of Hartselle and Donna Orr Douglas and husband Tyrone of Huntsville; a brother, Carl Hardin and wife Queen of Nashville, Tenn.; three sisters, Evelyn Jones, Ava Cobbs and husband James and Susan McKeever and husband George, all of Nashville, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers and flower girls will be family and friends.
