Funeral for Helen Loraine Terry Davis, 83, of Somerville was Monday, May 4, at 4 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Paul Pitts officiating.
Burial was in Center Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis died Saturday, May 2, 2009, at her residence. She was born July 15, 1925, in Lawrence County to John Balley Terry and Nanny Smith Terry. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Luther Davis Jr.; her parents; five brothers, Russell, Wade, Albert, Sidney and Elbert Terry; and three sisters, Mamie Allen, Jenny Letson and Jessie Terry.
She is survived by a son, Lefaniel Wayne Davis of Somerville; a daughter, Martha Ann Weathers of Somerville; a sister, Mattie Epperson of Falkville; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Byron Turney, Dexter Allen, Andrew Robinson Jr., Patrick Dotson Sr., Andrew Robinson Sr. and Daniel Brown.
