Badger wins 4-H contest

Abigail Badger won first place for her 100-year celebration cup cake tree at the Morgan County 4-H Roundup.
The Roundup was help April 28 at Sparkman Civic Center in Hartselle. 4-H began in Alabama in 1909 and began as a boy’s corn club and a girls tomato canning club. 4-H has evolved to not only include the cooking and farming aspect of the program but also robotics, rocketry and Power Point presentations as well as public speaking contests and photography.
