Funeral for Florene Phillips, 77, of Falkville was Saturday, May 9, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. A. Ray Lee officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur.
Mrs. Phillips was born July 10, 1931, in Randolph County to Russell Thomas Daughtery and Eldie Mae McLeroy Daughtery. She was a Baptist and was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Phillips.
She is survived by three daughters, Rita K. Davenport and Hillery A. Forrester, both of Huntsville and Robbie C. Barker of Jacksonville, Fla.; three sisters, Maelean Crossley of Miami, Fla., Rudell Gilmer of Anniston and Faye Bunn of Atlanta, Ga.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Sean Norwood, Herbert “Bert” Barker III, Phillip Barker, Andrew Daven-port, Heath Barker and Meganann Barker-Wisman.
