Kitchens elected to co-op group

George Kitchens of Decatur was elected vice-chairman of the Alabama Rural Electric Association at a recent Cooperative’s board of directors meeting. O.B. Owens of Hartselle was also elected to the board.
Kitchens, general manager of the Joe Wheeler Electric Membership Co-op, will also serve on the association’s executive, legislative, training and development and strategic planning and legislative committees.
