A memorial service for Betty Reed, 80, of Hartselle will be Thursday (today), June 4, at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Hartselle with Henry Clay officiating and Berryhill Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Reed died Friday, May 29, 2009, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born September 22, 1928, in Bessemer to Leon and Beula Aldridge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh M. Reed and her parents.
She is survived by a son, Ronald P. Reed and wife Linda of Hartselle; a brother, Gary Aldridge; several half brothers and sisters; a grandchild, Alison Reed of Hartselle; and two great-grandchildren, Hugh Mack Reed and Jesse Speegle.
