Aunt charged with interference

A Decatur woman has been charged with two counts of interference with child custody in relation to a pair of missing Hartselle sisters.
Tammy Lee Hodge, 36, of 324 Cardinal Drive, is being held on $5,000 bond.
Hodge is charged in connection with the May 18 missing children case involving the Akers sisters. Hodge is the girls’ aunt and allegedly assisted them with their disappearance during the time the Hartselle Police Department was investigating the report of them running away from a residence in Hartselle.
According to the Hartselle Police Department, the investigation continues and more charges may be filed.
