A memorial visitation for Charles Herbert Sanford Jr., 61, of Danville was Sunday, June 14, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Sanford died Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born July 27, 1947, in Tuscaloosa County to Charles Herbert Sanford Sr. and May Evelyn Whitson Sanford.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Welch Sanford of Danville; two sons, Bryan Sanford of Hartselle and Isaac Sanford of Trinity; a daughter, Erika Turner of Hillsboro; a brother, Joseph Sanford of Huntsville; two sisters, Lynn Strickland of Tennessee and Cheryl Black of Texas.; and three grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
