Posey, Lorenzen team up in Kentucky

Former Danville resident Tom Posey, in his second season as an assistant coach for AF2’s Kentucky Horsemen, has had the opportunity to work with former University of Kentucky standout Jared Lorenzen this season.
Lorenzen, a 6-4, 285-pound quarterback, played for the Wildcats from 2000-03 and later was a backup for the New York Giants in the National Football League.
He participated in Super Bowl XLII as the Giants beat New England 17-14.
The Horsemen are off to a 6-5 start this season with Lorenzen at the helm of the team’s offense.
This marks Posey’s second season as a member of the Horsemen coaching staff.
