Robotics course offered at Wallace

Wallace State Community College in Hanceville will offer a two-week, eight-hour course in Basic Motoman Robotics Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6-8 p.m., June 30-July 9.
Basic Motoman Robotics is an introductory course.
No experience with robots is required.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to identify and operate a robot arm, understand the functions of components in the control cabinet, navigate menus of the programming pendant, and conduct simple job programs and identify and operate the robot’s universal inputs and outputs.
The course will be taught by David Minor. Registration is $500. The deadline to register is June 22, and class size is limited. For more information, contact Staci Bryan at 352-8166.
