Funeral for Gregory Dale Brown, 63, of Somerville, was Saturday, July 4, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Tim Patrick and Melvin Brown officiating.
Burial was in Valhermoso Cemetery in Valhermoso Springs.
Mr. Brown died Thursday, July 2, 2009, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born April 30, 1946, in Morgan County to Mack V. Brown and Lydia V. King Brown.
He is survived by his son, Chris Brown of Somerville; a brother, Dewey Brown of Lacey’s Spring; four sisters, Dorothy Brown of Valhermoso Springs, Annie Lenox of Lacey’s Spring, Lillie Maples of Somerville and Mabel Avens of Scottsboro; and a grandson, Rayan Brown.
Pallbearers were Rocky Maples, Jeff Lenox, Modie Smith, Troy Brown, Michael Owens and James Bowers.
