Man faces meth charges

A Hartselle man was arrested last week after agents serving an arrest warrant discovered a methamphetamine laboratory on the property where he was found.
Brandon Williams, 38, of Hartselle, is charged with the unlawful manufacturing of the controlled substance methamphetamine in the first degree. Also arrested on the same charges were George Gay, 31, of Trinity, Marx Duke, 33, of Decatur, and Natalie Morgan, 25, of Trinity.
According to Sheriff Greg Bartlett, the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics and Violent Crimes Task Force executed a search warrant on Williams at 2918 Deere Road in Priceville.
At the scene, agents noticed items used in manufacturing methamphetamine. Agents searched the home and an outbuilding and found several one-pot clandestine methamphetamine labs, including one in an RV located on the property.
Williams is being held without bond due to the outstanding warrants for his arrest.
Bond is pending for Gay, Duke, and Morgan.
