Funeral for Mattie Bennett, 58, of Falkville was Monday, July 13, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Sadix officiating.
Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Mrs. Bennett died Friday, July 10, 2009, at her residence. She was born June 16, 1951, to Lester Gordon Moon and Lola Lizabeth Maidwell.
She is survived by her husband, Stevie Joe Bennett of Falkville; a son, Chad Bennett of Falkville; a daughter, Angel Hargrove of Falkville; four sisters, Lucilla Nichols of Tennessee, Mary Sue Guay of Hazel Green, Linda Bryant of Falkville and Peggy Wilburn of Gurley; two brothers, Freddie Moon of Big Cove and Bobby Moon of Huntsville; and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers were nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff and doctors of Cullman Regional Medical Center and Hospice of Cullman County for their loving care.
