Nancy Knighten

Funeral for Nancy Knighten, 85, of Falkville was Wednesday, July 8, at 2 p.m. at New Hope North Baptist Church with the Revs. Kenneth Reves and Jim Palmer officiating and Cullman Heritage Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Knighten died Sunday, July 5, 2009, at her residence. She was born August 22, 1923, in Morgan County to Frank Smith and Lula Vinzant Smith. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Matthew Knighten; her parents; a daughter, Helen Rusk; a sister, Sally Young; and three brothers, Rex Smith, Jim Smith and Bailey Smith.
She is survived by a daughter, Evelyn Green and husband Roy; a brother, Andrew Smith and wife Betty; three sisters, Lucille Morgan, Audie Harris and Frances Holt; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
