Byford, Clark exchange vows in Hartselle ceremony
Heather Brooke Byford and James Earl Clark III of Birmingham were married June 20 at 6 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Hartselle. Reverend Robert Sparkman officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Ricky Allen Byford of Hartselle. She is also the granddaughter of Barbara Ann Stiles of Hartselle and the late Robert Henry Stiles and Ida Mae Byford of Hartselle and the late Benjamin Jake Byford.
The groom is the son of Mr. And Mrs. James Earl Clark II of Houston. He is the grandson of Mr. And Mrs. Owen D. Sandlin of Moulton and the late Mr. And Mrs. James Earl Clark of Danville.
The bride chose a formal designer gown of white silk satin. The strapless gown featured a sweetheart bodice of wrapped rusching. The rusching continued over the natural waistline and was graced at the hipline with a vintage brooch given to her by her mother. The slim fitting sheath skirt flared gently at the knee and swept to a semi-cathedral train. A handmade designer veil of silk English net was rimmed with a sterling silver thread and generously embellished in its fullness with an intricate silver embroidery pattern. It was held by a miniature bridal tiara of pearls, faceted crystal beads and rhinestone rondels.
Serving as Maids of Honor were Kayla Danielle Byford and Whitney Michelle Byford of Hartselle, sisters of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Lauren Nicole Brennan, Andrea Carolyn Bunger, Kristen Layne McGriff, all from Tennessee, Elizabeth Ashley Turner, from Birmingham, and Nichla Clark Phillips of Virginia, sister of the groom.
Junior bridesmaids were Haley Dawn Stiles of Hartselle and Hannah Nicole Sapp of Hartselle, both cousins of the bride.
Flower girl was Peyton Elizabeth Hendon of Birmingham
Best man was the groom’s father, James Earl Clark II of Houston.
Groomsmen were Benjamin Atchison and Benjamin Peck of Hartselle, K. Blake Barnett of Auburn, Eric Grisham and Randall Burcham of Birmingham, J. Matthew Ryals of Huntsville, Jason Dillon of Tuscaloosa and Jonathan Phillips of Virginia.
Ring Bearer was Cody Stiles Hendon of Birmingham.
The guest book was attended by Hailey Ryan Sandlin of Moulton.
Donna Scott of Hartselle served as wedding director. The music was provided by pianist Ellen Bean and vocalist Chris Heaps, both of Hartselle.
A reception followed at the Decatur Country Club.
The couple honeymooned on the island of Antigua.
