Funeral for Donna Streling, 82, of Hartselle was Sunday, July 19, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joey Coots officiating.
Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens in Decatur.
Mrs. Streling died Friday, July 17, 2009, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born December 16, 1926, in Florida to William Andrews Mathis and Millicent Geraldine Surber Mathis. She was a Baptist and was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Streling.
She is survived by two sons, David Streling and wife JoNell of Hartselle and Ed Streling and wife Andrea of Metamora, Mich.; two sisters, Olive Cummick of Indiana. and Verna Hanson of Michigan; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were David Streling, Edmmond Streling, Shawn Streling, Brandon Prater, Joey Harville and Adam Harville.
