Funeral for Melba S. Dutton, 73, of Priceville will be Thursday (today), July 30, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John White officiating.
Burial will be in Napps Cemetery.
Mrs. Dutton died Monday, July 27, 2009, at Parkway Medical Center. She was born Aug. 26, 1935, in Morgan County to Lowell Newt Standridge and Lillie Pearl McDougle Standridge. She attended Decatur Christian Church and was retired as a district clerk of Morgan County. She was a member of the Alabama Clerks Association. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by a son, J. Danny Dutton of Decatur; a sister, Josephine Standridge Sain of Decatur; a grandchild, Seth Daniel Dutton; two step-grandchildren, Candle and Melissa Thompson; and three great-grandchildren, Abbigail, Alivia and Jesse Mason.
Pallbearers will be Seth Dutton, Johnny Sain, Phillip Sain, Jimmy McDougle, Sherman Barnes and Scott Anderson.
