Funeral for Betty John Hopper, 76, of Priceville, was Wednes-day, August 5, at 10 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jason Moore officiating.
Burial was in Mount Tabor Cemetery.
Mrs. Hopper died Monday, August 3, 2009, at Falkville Health Care Center. She was born March 6, 1933, in Morgan County to John Paul Johnson and Ruby Mae Nelson Johnson. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Phyllis Annettee Odell and her parents.
She is survived by four sons, Steven Hopper of Priceville, John Dennis Hopper of Somerville, Jimmy Wayne Hopper of Decatur and Brian Kevin Hopper of Hartselle; three daughters, Patricia Ann George of Hartselle, Rhonda J. Fox of Madison and Vickie Johnston of Somerville; a brother, Velvert Johnson of Hartselle; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Steven Hopper, John Dennis Hopper, Jimmy Wayne Hopper, Brian Kevin Hopper, Patrick Lee Hopper and Daryl Johnston.
