State approves specialty beds

Plans for a new assisted living facility are under way in Decatur.
The State Health Planning and Development Agency have issued a certificate of need to Westminster of Decatur Assisted Living Facility to host 16 specialty care assisting living beds as part of their overall 40-bed facility.
The request was submitted by Decatur ALF Group. The estimated cost of the project is $2.8 million.
