Funeral for Stella A. Morgan, 91, of Hartselle was Saturday, August 1, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Jolene Hammick officiating.
Burial was in Mount Vernon Methodist Cemetery.
Mrs. Morgan died Thursday, July 30, 2009, at her residence. She was born April 26, 1918, in Morgan County to Harbert A. Guthery and Pearl Welch Guthery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Will Morgan; four brothers, Woodrow Guthery and wife Vivian, Alton Guthery and wife, Iown, Cooledge Guthery and James Guthery; and a sister, Ophelia Barnett.
She is survived by a daughter, Betty Jane “B.J.” Woods and husband A.C. of Hartselle; a brother-in-law, Quinton Barnett; two sisters-in-law, Betty Guthery and Nell Guthery; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Dale Woods, Al Woods, John Bricker, Don Blevins, Norman Guthery and Steve Woods.
