By Staff
Accident victim Keith Barber of Hartselle will benefit from the sale of smoked chickens and Boston butts at Gurley’s Soggy Bottom Music Barn near Florette Aug. 22.
Barber was seriously injured in a traffic accident Sept. 24, 2007, and is recuperating at his home.
Volunteers are taking orders now for smoked whole chickens, $10, and Boston butts, $25. They may be picked up at the music barn from 2 to 6 p.m. Chicken and barbecue pork sandwiches and barbecue plates will also be sold at a free music show, beginning at 6 p.m.
