Haddock, Kirby to wed

Dr. Randall Haddock of Birmingham and Dr. Cynthia Howard of Lee’s Summit, Mo. announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Susanne Haddock of Birmingham to Dr. Scott Alan Kirby of Hartselle, son of Sherman and Ann Kirby of Hartselle.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Gloria Carter and the late Charles Junior Carter of Joplin, Mo. and the late William Earl and Virginia Sue Haddock of Cedarcreek, Mo. She received her bachelor of science in biology in 2004 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a master of business administration and master of science in health administration from UAB in 2009. She is employed by Cardiology Associates in Mobile.
The future groom is the grandson of Lucille Hall and the late Millard Hall of Hartselle and the late Carl and Mable Kirby of Danville.
A 1999 graduate of Hartselle High School, he received his bachelor of science in civil engineering from The University of Alabama in 2003, a master of science in environmental engineering from The University of Alabama in 2005 and a doctor of philosophy in environmental engineering from The University of Alabama in 2008. He is employed by Environ-mental Resources Man-agement in Mobile.
The wedding is planned for Oct. 3, 2009, at 2:30 p.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church in Mobile.
