Funeral for Talmadge R. Cobb, 73, of Falkville, will be Thursday (today), August 13, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Don Froelich officiating.
Burial will be in Bell Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Cobb died Monday, August 10, 2009, at Falkville Health Care Center. He was born December 31, 1935, in Winston County to William Cobb and Lora M. Smith Cobb. He was self-employed as a brickmason. He was a member of the Worldwide Church of God. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert and James Cobb.
He is survived by two sons, Tony R. Cobb of Harvest and Keith Cobb of Falkville; a daughter, Sherri Nixon of Hartselle; two half-brothers, Edward Higdon of Tenn. and Jimmy Higdon of Wisconsin; a sister, Eveline Millican of Hartselle; a half-sister, Barbara Roberts of Fla.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Cobb, Daniel Cobb, Shannon Borden, Doug Cobb, Mike Cobb and Cody Stisher.
