Funeral for William Scott Tackett, 38, of Missoula, Mont., was Monday, August 17, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Sparkman officiating.
Burial was in McLemore Cemetery in Lawrence County.
Mr. Tackett died Friday, July 31, 2009. He was born March 29, 1971, in Morgan County. He was preceded in death by his father, William Daniel Tackett.
He is survived by his mother, Sherri Armstrong of Hoover; his grandmother, Gladys Tackett of Madison; special uncles, Ron and Mark Armstrong and John Shaffer; a favorite aunt, Kathi Shaffer; special cousins, Laurie and Chris Bryan; and a host of uncles, aunts, great aunts, great uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers were John Shaffer, Chris Bryan, Ron Armstrong, Mark Armstrong, Walter Tackett and Tommy Tackett.
