Basketry class slated in Decatur

Local basket maker and artist Michelle Drake will be teaching a basic pine needle basketry class with a new class starting every Monday and Friday. Classes begin Sept. 14.
Each participant will learn the basic skills of pine needle basketry and take home their very own creation.
Class seating is limited, pre-registration is required. Classes will take place from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Fort Decatur (Decatur Parks and Recreation.) Fee is $35 per class and a $10 supply fee.
