Funeral for Jordan Alexander Williams West, 10, of Somerville, was Monday, August 31, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Conley Ransom officiating.
Burial was in New Center Cemetery.
Jordan died Friday, August 28, 2009, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born April 7, 1999, in Morgan County to Jesse Lee Adkins and Melinda Ellen Williams. He loved riding bikes, skate boarding, fishing with Uncle Justin and Uncle Bobby, playing his X-Box 360 with Uncle Bobby and mom. He liked school especially science and the experiments, walking in the woods, lying in the floor for hours playing with his cars and super heroes. He liked having lots of girl friends (4), sleeping close to Nanny, swimming and playing with his Uncle Terry every 4th of July. His favorites were Big 10, King of the Hills and Clone Wars and family guy.
He is survived by his mother, Melinda Williams of Somerville; his father, Jesse Adkins and wife Jamie of Falkville; grandparents, Patricia Bruton and Bobby West of Somerville and Margie and Brownie Adkins of Falkville; two brothers, Dylan Walton of Texas and Jesse Adkins Jr., both of Falkville; and two sisters, Alexus Walton of Texas and Sara Adkins of Falkville.
Pallbearers were Tim Holloway, Roger Holloway, Terry Johnson, Michael Maxwell, Donnie Williams and Scottie Jones.
