Funeral for Gracie Lawrence, 74, of Priceville, was Wednesday, September 9, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Todd Evans officiating.
Burial was in Mount Tabor Cemetery.
Mrs. Lawrence died Sunday, September 6, 2009. She was born November 10, 1934, in Gainesville, Mo., to Earnest and Lela Power. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Willard Lawrence and her parents.
She is survived by two sons, James Gregory Lawrence and wife Diann of Opelika and David Willard Lawrence and wife Barbara of Decatur; a daughter, Pamela Southern and husband Garry; a sister, Ann Johnson and husband Earl of West Branson, Mo.; and five grandchildren, Joshua Lawrence and wife Julie of LaGrange, Ga., Kara Lawrence of Opelika, Brandon Southern of Florence, Bradley Lawrence of Huntsville and Jennifer Lawrence of Mobile.
Pallbearers were Joshua Lawrence, Brandon Southern, Bradley Law-rence, Gearie Lawrence, Edwin Lawrence and Tommy Fowler.
Honorary pallbearers were Lewis (Piney) Tapscott, Olin Rosier, Donald Foster, Doug Hale, Albert Ridgeway and the Masons of Rising Sun Lodge #29.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Shriners Hospital.
