Funeral for Jayden Lynn Travis, 3, of Hartselle, will be Thursday (today), September 24, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Gary Taylor officiating.
Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Jayden died Monday, September 21, 2009, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born June 13, 2006. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lilly Adkins.
He is survived by his mother, Casey Lynn Travis of Hartselle; his father, William “Tez” Adkins IV of Decatur; a stepmother, Jessica Adkins of Decatur; a half-sister, Jasmine Adkins of Decatur; grandparents, Ronnie Travis of Hartselle, Tami Richards of Danville, Patricia and Rod Dutton of South Carolina and William and Carol Adkins of Groveport, Ohio; step-grandparents, Wanda McKelvey of Athens, James Suggs of Joppa; great-grandmothers, Anna Wallace and Gracie Travis, both of Hartselle, Shelby Burgkatt of Decatur and Bobbye Rochester of Massey; stepgreat-grandparents, Charles and Raney Vice of Huntsville; four aunts, Rheanna VanAntrup, Marie Butner, Danielle Dutton and Brandy Wallace; four uncles, Chris Wallace, Nathan Wallace, Thomas Fortner and Joseph Adkins; and four cousins, DaKota, Colton, Brannen and Christian.
Pallbearers will be Chris and Nathan Wallace.
