Laura ‘Jo’ Suit

Funeral for Laura “Jo” Suit, 64, of Valhermoso Springs was Sat., Sept. 26, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Hubert Smith and Leon Hold officiating.
Burial was in Forrest Hill Cemetery in Somerville.
Mrs. Suit died Tues., Sept. 22, 2009, at her residence. She was born January 5, 1945, in Morgan County to Verbon and Dessie Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Verbon Davis Jr.; two sisters, Wanda Holt and Elainor Davis; and a grandson, Lee Chaney.
She is survived by her husband, Johnsiey Suit of Valhermoso Springs; a son, Andy Suit of Valhermoso Springs; five daughters, Regina Williams of Somerville, Bobbie Evans of Lacey’s Spring, Debra McNutt, Betty Mazingo and Laura Powers, all of Valhermoso Springs; four brothers, Harry Davis and Cecil Davis, both of Somerville, Verlon Davis of Birmingham and Steve Davis of Valhermoso Springs; four sisters, Willie Hall of Decatur, Dessie Suit of Somerville, Brenda Muckenfuss of Prince George, Va. and Beverly Jinkins of Valhermoso Springs; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Corey Williams, Barry Williams, David Suit, Tyler Evans, Adam Suit, Chase Chaney, Blake West and Aaron McNutt.
