Funeral for Naomi Moore, 89, of Hartselle, was Mon., Sept. 28, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Summerford officiating.
Burial was in Salem Cemetery.
Mrs. Moore died Fri., Sept. 25, 2009, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Nov. 18, 1919, in Morgan County to James W. Jaggers and Dovie Powell Jaggers. She was the last daughter of the Civil War. She was preceded in death by her husband, Asberry Moore; two sons, Edward F. Moore and John W. Moore; and a daughter, Maverine Morris.
She is survived by a son, Arthur B. Moore Sr. of Decatur; a daughter, Margie Moore Blanton of Decatur; 33 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were David Smith, Jerry Butts Jr., Tim Simmons, Paul Roberts, Arthur Moore Jr. and Matt Kyle.
