Swansie Posey

Funeral for Swansie Posey, 78, of Hartselle, was Sat., Sept. 26, at 11 a.m. at Ridout’s Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with Ronald Kilpatric officiating.
Burial was in Clardy Cemetery in Lawrence County.
Mrs. Posey died Thur., Sept. 24, 2009, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born Nov. 28, 1930, in Winston County to Olan Clinton Kilpatric and Virgy McClellan Kilpatric. She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday school for 10 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Hollis Christy and a son, Clyde Christy.
She is survived by a son, Keith Christy of Hartselle; a granddaughter, Maranda Shea Kent of Hartselle; and three brothers, J.H. Kilpatric, R.V. Kilpatric and L.B. Kilpatric.
