A 5-year-old child was removed from a home in Eva last week after deputies with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department found an operational methamphetamine lab.
Agents with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Narcotics and Violence Crimes Task Force made the arrest after searching a home at 1081 Daniel Chapel Road in Eva. During the search, agents found a clandestine “shake and bake” meth lab inside the home. The lab contained a large amount of extracted methamphetamine, several precursor chemicals and other ingredients associated with meth production. Agents also found finished meth inside the residence.
Arrested at the scene were Jamie Chris Millwood Walker, 31, and Jimmy Dale Panter, 50, both of 1081 Daniel Chapel Road and Kenitch Wayne Millwood, 52, of 12 County Road 1378 in Vinemont.
The child was removed from the scene and placed in the custody of a relative.
Further criminal charges are expected in relation to the case.
