Funeral for Margie Boyd, 92, of New Hope was Monday, Oct. 12, at 11 a.m. at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Browner officiating.
Burial was in Walker Cemetery.
Mrs. Boyd died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel H. Edmonds and Palestine Edmonds and her husband, Walter J. Boyd.
She is survived by a daughter, Pat Burrow and husband Bob Weir of Huntsville; six sons, Eldon Boyd and wife Burma of Section, Dale Boyd and wife Betty of Hartselle, Weldon Boyd and wife Janice of Huntsville, David Boyd and wife Diane, John Paul Boyd and Mike L. Boyd, all of New Hope; 13 grandchildren, 22 grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
