Funeral for Mark Collier, 42, of Somerville, was Friday, Oct. 16, at 2 p.m. at Cave Spring Baptist Church with Eric Mattox and Jason Moore officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur.
Mr. Collier died Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009, at his residence. He was born May 5, 1967, in Tennessee to George Donald Collier and Jan Bowling Collier. He was a member of Cave Spring Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was a pharmacist at Wal-Mart in Hartselle.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Berry Collier; a son, Nathan Dakota Collier of Somerville; a daughter, Erin Grace Collier of Somerville; his parents, Don and Jan Collier of Priceville; and a sister, Leigh Anne Swindell of Decatur.
Pallbearers were Allen Gladwell, Kenny Sharrott, Mark Sanders, Jerry Collier, Johnny Johnson, Bill Radcliff, Mike Greenwell and Mike Williams.
