Funeral for Lazelle Belew Parker, 76, of Somerville, was Monday, October 26, at 1 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Earl Holt and Ralph Henderson officiating.
Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Parker died Friday, October 23, 2009, at her residence. She was born October 7, 1933, in Morgan County to Marvin Cecil Belew and Ethel Cozene Owens Belew. She was a charter member of Serenity Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Milton R. Parker of Somerville; three daughters, Judy Orme and husband Harold, Cheryl Guldenschuh, all of Somerville and Robin Scott and husband Jimmy of Birmingham; a sister, Rita Odom and husband Alfred of Ellijay, Ga.; seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Thomas Jay Griffin, Kenneth Owens, Jimmy Scott, Avery Beaver, Bill Owen and Billy Hampton.
