Robert Douglas Wright

A graveside service for Robert Douglas Wright, 64, of Grand Island, Fla., formerly of Hartselle, will be Thursday (today), October 29, at 12:30 p.m. at Hartselle Memory Gardens with the Rev. Ben Shelton officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Wright died Sunday, October 25, 2009, in Florida. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Wilson Wright. He worked as a mechanic at Ring Power Corp.
He is survived by his wife, “Dottie” Wright of Grand Island, Fla.; a son, Robert Douglas Wright Jr. of Grand Island, Fla.; two daughters, Amanda Sutton of Town Creek and Angie Maples of Hartselle; his mother, Zettie Wright of Hartselle; three sisters, Mattie Shelton of Hartselle, Linda Sue McCown of Toney and Patricia Hopson of Hartselle; and six granddaughters.
Pallbearers will be Douglas Wright Jr., Steve Sutton, Tommy Hopson, Michael Hopson, Clint McCown, Chad McCown, Stanley Millard and Walter Millard.
