Funeral for Claude Hidgon Jr., 68, of Decatur was Tuesday, November 3, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Nix officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Higdon died Sunday, November 1, 2009, at his residence. He was born October 18, 1941, in Morgan County to Claude R. Higdon and Pearl Moses Higdon. He was a member of the Beltline Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jimmy Higdon; and a sister, Linda Higdon.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda D. Higdon of Decatur; a daughter, Jennifer Kay Higdon of Scottsboro; two brothers, Jack Higdon of Hartselle and Loyd Higdon of Decatur; and two aunts, May Moses and Faye Moses.
Pallbearers were Jerry Parker, Don Stidham, Howard Hendrix, Billy Melson, Morris Reagin and Russ Mattox.
