Don ‘P.D.’ Corder

Funeral for Don “P.D.” Corder, 74, of Hartselle was Tuesday, November 24, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Brad Roath, Clyde Ledlow and Craye Hall officiating.
Burial was in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Corder died Saturday, November 21, 2009, at his residence. He was born April 2, 1935 in Tennessee to Lonnie Corder and Lucille Newton Corder. He was a deacon at Ark Baptist Church and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rovine Corder of Hartselle; two sons, Jeff Corder and wife Rhonda and Jan “J.C.” Corder and wife Michelle, all of Hartselle; a daughter, Selena Bailey and husband Arvil of Hartselle; two sisters, Joanne Gasper of Fairfax, Virginia and Sandra Armstrong of Florence; seven grandchildren, Kenny Corder, Lindsay Terry, Micah Corder, Abbigail Grace Corder, Travis Bailey, Katlin Bailey and Jasper Corder; and a great-grandchild, Isabella Terry.
Pallbearers were Jeff Corder, Jan Corder, Arvil Bailey, Travis Bailey, Kenny Corder and Glenn Sparkman.
Honorary pallbearers were Doug McKelvy, Micah Corder and Mark Kelly.
