Baggett, Crow to wed
Kenneth and Juanita Baggett of Moulton announce the engagement of their daughter, Karen Elizabeth Baggett, to Brett Alan Crow, son of John “Sammy” and Cathy Crow of Danville.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Gerald and Dorothy Jarnigan of Red Bay, Mamie Lou Baggett of Hodges and the late Grady Baggett. A 2006 graduate of Lawrence County High School, she is currently attending Auburn University and plans to graduate in December with a bachelor of arts in radio, television and film. She is a member of FFA at Auburn University.
The future groom is the grandson of Zemon and Marie Crow of Danville and the late Hollis and Maverine Sparkman of Neel. A 2003 graduate of Danville High School, he received his associate of science in agriculture from Butler Community College in El Dorado, Ka. in 2005. He went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from Kansas State University in 2008 with a bachelor of science degree in animal science, later earning a master of science in animal science from KSU. He was a member of the livestock judging teams at Butler Community College and Kansas State University. He is currently the livestock judging team coach and an agriculture instructor at Seward County Community College in Liberal, Kan.
The wedding is planned for Jan. 1, 2010, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Moulton.
