A memorial service for Micheline Foster, 67, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri will be held Friday, November 27, 2009, at Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, Missouri.
Mrs. Foster died Monday, November 23, 2009, at her residence. She was born October 5, 1942, in Rewan Noranda Quebec Canada to Edwardina and Euclide Malo Maltasis. She was a homemaker and a long time member of the Independent Order of Foresters and an active member of Court #1283 in Springfield, Missouri. Mrs. Foster and her family moved to Trinity in 1984 where they resided until December, 1991. She will always be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a true friend. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter, Brenda Foster.
She is survived by her husband, James Foster of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; a sister, Ms. Colomb Maltais of Sarina Ontario, Canada; a daughter, Mrs. Joanne Bruette and husband David of Chadwick, Missouri; a son, Stephen Foster of Hartselle; three grandsons, John Foster of Springfield, Missouri, Victor Gray of Kansas City, Missouri and D.J. Bruette of Chadwick, Missouri; three granddaughters, Bridget, Brenda and Stephanie Foster, all of Decatur; a great-granddaughter, Kiley Goings of Springfield, Missouri.
