Danville, Priceville solid in tourney

DANVILLE - Ashley Nance scored 19 points and Hannah McClung added 17 points as Danville hammered West Morgan 54-34 in the Danville Thanksgiving Invitational.
Christy Roewe led West Morgan with 18 points.
Danville 54, Priceville 47
Danville rallied in the second half to beat Priceville 54-47 Saturday morning in the tournament.
Danville’s Kayloni Cross led all scorers with 25 points in the win.
Presley Darling finished with a team-high 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Lady Bulldogs. Melissa Johnson added 10 points.
Danville 70, Columbia 30
Danville dominated Columbia in the opening round of the tournament.
Kaitlin Wallace led the Lady Hawks with 15 points, while Sarah Terry finished with 12 points. Rochelle St. Amand added 10 points and eight rebounds.
Hannah McClung had a team-high six assists and six steals for Danville.
The Lady Hawks, who led for most of the game, held a 36-point lead at the end of the first half.
Columbia’s Mercedes Pride finished with 11 points.
Priceville 76, Munford 69
The Lady Bulldogs overcame a loss to host Danville to beat Munford by seven points.
Presley Darling and Melissa Johnson finished with 14 points each in the win.
Sydney McClendon and Amber Smith chipped in with 13 points each.
