Hilda ‘Tootsie’ Marie Dial

Funeral for Hilda “Tootsie” Marie Dial, 91, of Hartselle was Tuesday, Dec. 1, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Thompson officiating.
Burial was in Moss Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Dial died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born March 18, 1918, in Morgan County to Thomas Cook and Mattie Ellen Harvel Cook. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hartselle for 53 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Dial; her parents; a son, Ronnie Dial; and a brother, Aubrey Sparkman.
She is survived by two sons, Travis Dwain Dial of Hartselle and Don L. Dial of Decatur; two granddaughters, Amy Dial of Hartselle and Britney Lewis of Millbrook; and two great-grandchildren, Layton and Lawson Lewis of Millbrook.
Pallbearers were nephews and friends.
