Funeral for Athlea Dover, 71, of LaVergne was Monday, December 7, at 10 a.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
Burial was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Dover died December 3, 2009. She was born December 27, 1937, to Floyd and Edna Ledlow Looney. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Earl Dover and her parents. She was a native of Alabama. She was a Baptist and was retired from Greer Stop Nut.
She is survived by two sons, Bryan Dover and wife Carol of Walther Hill and Harrell Dover and wife Pam of Smyrna; four grandchildren, Michelle Pruitt of North Carolina, Jarrett Dover of Maryland, Jon Judkins of LaVergne and Kristina Arlund of Smyrna; two sisters, Margie Looney Button and Lorene Looney Holliday.
