Woodard to host camp

Former professional baseball player Steve Woodard will again hold a Christmas baseball camp at Triple Play Sports Academy in Cullman.
The camp, which will run Dec. 22-23, will cost $140 per player if registered before Dec. 18. Cost on the day of the camp is $160.
Woodard, a former Hartselle High School standout, pitched in the Major Leagues with the Milwaukee Brewers, Cleveland Indians, Texas Rangers and Boston Red Sox.
The camp will feature Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher David Price, a former standout at Vanderbilt.
Also scheduled to appear are Boston Red Sox minor leaguer Caleb Clay, Atlanta Braves minor leaguer Craig Kimbrell and Milwaukee Brewers minor leaguers Zelous Wheeler, Del Howell and Donovan Hand.
